Airscape Coffee Canister 7" Medium 500g

Airscape is a durable stainless steel bean bucket with a patented inner plunger design that forces the extra air out of the canister.
This 7" Airscape can hold up to 1kg of coffee beans but is also available in 4" (250g) and 8" (1kg) sizes.

How To Use Airscape 7" Canister

The Airscape canister is by far the simplest and easiest to use coffee bean storage canister. It takes just 3 steps to store away your beans:

1. Fill with coffee beans
2. Plunge inner-insert
3. Pop the lid on

Why Use Airscape Canisters To Store Coffee Beans?

Air, Light, Moisture & Temperature have been shown to increase the rate that coffee beans age, the older the coffee means you start to loose coffee freshness.
Old coffee beans can taste dull, muddy, cardboard or even earthy tasting and overall like a completly different coffee from what it originally tasted like!

The Airscape canisters shield your coffee beans from many factors that increase the ageing of your coffee. 

Low Air

Air drastically ages your coffee beans, the plunger doesn't remove all of the air but the amount of air in contact with your coffee beans is significantly reduced. This with other variables ensures your beans remain fresh and tasty for as long as possible.

No Light

UV from the sun can increase the rate your coffee ages, by keeping your beans in a dark environment you protect them from light.

No Moisture

The Airscape's plunger seal locks into place making it air tight, and with the lid attached no moisture will be able to get in after it's closed.

Low Temperature

Because the Airscape is made from a thick galvanised stainless steel it actually keeps your coffee beans noticeably cooler than if they were left in a plastic jar. The metal acts similarly to a heat sink!
