Refund policy
Domestic Returns (Australia)
We have a 30 day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, unworn, with any tags attached, and in its original packaging. You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
Damaged or Incorrect Products
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if:
- The item is defective
- The item is damaged
- You received the wrong product
We’ll assess the issue and work with you to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are not eligible for return, including:
- Perishable goods (coffee beans is considered a perishable good)
- Custom or special-order products
- Personal care items
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
We also do not accept returns on:
- Sale items
- Clearance items
- Gift cards

Change of Mind Returns & Return Process
To start a return, contact us Please include your order number (#_ _ _ _) and some more information about why you are wanting to process a return / the situation.
If your return is approved:
- We’ll provide a return shipping label and instructions
- The original shipping fee will be deducted from your refund for all change-of-mind returns
Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
Please note:
- Shipping costs are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns
- Payment processing fees may be deducted from your refund (typically 2-8%, depending on the payment method)
- This applies to change-of-mind returns, pre-order cancellations, and wholesale order cancellations
Change of mind returns are accepted at our sole discretion and are not guaranteed.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved:
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method
- Processing times vary depending on your bank or card provider
Returned items remain the customer’s responsibility until they are received by Bean Storage.
Returns Due to Missed Delivery
If a delivery attempt is missed or cannot be left safely, the courier may:
- Attempt redelivery
or - Redirect the parcel to a local collection point
If a parcel is not collected and is returned to us:
- The customer is responsible for the cost of re-shipping
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable
Please ensure your delivery details are correct and that someone is available to receive your order to avoid additional charges.
All orders are sent with tracking.
International Orders & Returns
At this time, change-of-mind returns are not available for international orders.
If your international order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us immediately so we can assist.
Please note:
- Customs duties, import taxes, and fees are the customer’s responsibility
- These charges are non-refundable
- Delays, inspections, or rejections by customs authorities are outside our control
Refunds will not be issued for orders refused by the customer or abandoned due to unpaid duties or taxes.
Fraudulent Orders
We actively monitor and screen for fraudulent activity.
If an order is identified as suspicious or fraudulent:
- The order will be cancelled and refunded
- Transaction fees may be deducted from the refunded amount
- This also applies to pre-order and wholesale cancellations
